Home for the holidays!

By popular demand, I'm back! Sorry it has been a while. It has been so cold outside I haven't had time to thaw my paws enough to write anything. Things have been pretty exciting here for the holidays. Michael and Mandi got me a bunch of bones to chew on. I really do enjoy them. Mandi came home the other day and I didn't even recognize her. She changed her hair again. I wish they would let me get highlights too.

Michael tells me they got some real nice gifts this year. I haven't seen him much since Christmas because he is always playing the Wii. He also got a gun so he can take me hunting with him. I don't know why he has his new toolbelt on in this picture.

Mandi can't wait until Spring to try out her new golf clubs. She also told me that during Spring Break she and Michael will be leaving me for a few days. It seems that Michael bought her a two-night stay in a cabin at Hocking Hills, Ohio.

Michael and Mandi also had a good time spending Christmas with their families. Here are some of the pictures. It looks like they had fun. I don't know why they can't bring me along.

Halloween Fun

Sorry it has been a while. Not much has been going on. I did get to go on a car ride to the vet last week. He poked me with a few shots and gave me a clean bill of health. Michael got some new drainage finished for the gutters. I know that's not too exciting. I told you Michael and Mandi haven't been doing much. Last night we had a couple of trick-or-treaters. Some lion looking thing and some girl with a black stuffed dog showed up. Mandi gave them each a bag of gummy worms. It turns out that little girl and lion were Dalayna and Bryce, Michael and Mandi's niece and nephew. I would have never guessed.
Mandi and her friends at school also got into the Halloween spirit. When I saw Mandi walk out the door, I thought she had changed jobs. Michael asked me the other day what things I wanted for Christmas. They must be gearing up for the holidays. I told him I could use some more bones to chew and a nice blanket for my house. I am sure I will have more to say in the coming weeks with the holidays approaching. Till then, keep warm.

Back to School

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. I have had one written up for a long time, but Michael and Mandi have been too busy to put it up. They have been working hard getting ready to go back to school, which started last week. They got new school clothes and Mandi changed her hair. She has blonde highlights now. I did not recognize her when she came home. I wonder if blondes have more fun? Michael bought Mandi a new swing to sit in. He built a frame for it. They also have been going out golfing quite a bit lately. They are getting ready for the College Corner golf scramble. Michael bought himself some new clubs. He says he can hit them as far as Tiger Woods. Mandi has been getting a little better. That's all the news I have for now. I am waiting for Fall to come so it will be cooler. I hate this heat.

Busy July

Things sure have been busy around here. Last week Michael and Mandi had a new roof put on the house. It looks really nice, but I didn't like being chained up for 2 days, as you can see from my picture. Here are a few shots of the house before and after the new siding and roof. Michael and Mandi also went to the lake. They invited Mandi's family up for a day of fun, sun, and lots of wind! When I saw the pictures, I wished they would have taken me along. It looked like a lot of fun. Mandi also got to babysit for Brayden and Audrey this past week. It was good practice for her because later this week she will be babysitting for Bryce and Dalayna for 2 days. Not much else has been going on except I sure wish it would rain. The brown grass isn't as soft on my paws as the lush green grass. Gotta run and find some shade! Woof Woof!

Summer Fun

Man is it hot outside. I wish I didn't have a fur coat. I have been spending my days laying in the dirt underneath the deck and running around in the sprinkler. Michael and Mandi have been very busy. Michael is still teaching drivers ed and Mandi is still teaching summer school. They only have a few days left. This past weekend they had a rummage sale at Michael's dad's house. They made lots of money and even bought me a few new toys. Here is a picture of Mandi doing some rummaging and a picture of Mandi, Michael, David, and Tom waiting on customers.

Mandi and Michael also spent time with Mandi's family this weekend. They went to eat at Texas Roadhouse for her brother's birthday. They also got to see their niece and nephew. Here is a picture of Michael with Brayden and Mandi with Audrey.

Gotta go, I see a cat!!

School's Out

Michael and Mandi said that school is out. That means they will be home more often to play with me, except when they are teaching summer school and driver's ed. At least it is only for the month of June. This past weekend they left me all by myself for 2 days while they went to the lake. I wish they would take me someday. It sure looks like fun! They took some pictures while they were there. They hope you enjoy them. Isn't it funny how Michael is wearing Purdue and Mandi is wearing IU. The other pictures of are their niece and nephew. Oh, I have to get going. I see a cat in the yard that I need to chase. Bark at you later.

Fun in the sun!!!

Hello again. Sorry it has been so long since my last post. I have been busy playing outside in the nice weather. Michael and Mandi bought me a new frisbee and a red ball. I have so much fun chasing that ball around. I get mad though because I can't get this one in my mouth. Mandi has been loving the nice weather. She has been taking walks and sitting with me outside in the sun. She is also getting ready to go to Washington DC for a school trip this weekend. Michael has been busy in the yard of course. He spent all weekend mowing grass, spraying for dandelions, and putting mulch around the trees. He got mad at me a few times while spreading mulch. I peed on the piles before he could get them spread out. Michael and Mandi haven't been doing too much else. Aren't they boring? Ta Ta for now.

Spring Break Happenings

Woof Woof! That's hello in dog language. Michael and Mandi were home all last week. They said that they didn't have to work because it was spring break. Michael spent the first few days in the yard mowing, rolling and spraying. I follow him around all the time trying to take his water bottle out of the cup holder on the mower. I think I got it 3 times before he started really getting mad at me. Mandi was gone for a few days. I guess she went to Bloomington to relive her old college days. She went with her friend Shelby. All I know is, when she got home she had all kinds of shopping bags to carry in. I was mad because she didn't get me anything. Update!!! The new washer and dryer is now here. Mandi just loves it. It holds more and doesn't take nearly as long to dry the clothes. I hope this means she will have more time to play with me on Sundays. Well, that's it for now. I have to get back to the warmth of my doghouse. Where did Spring go?

Spring is here!

Hello again. Spring is finally here!! I really love the nice warm weather. I get to spend more time sunning myself in the yard. It is also a great time because Michael and Mandi come outside more often to play with me. Michael has been working on getting the lawn mower ready for the upcoming season. He sure does like mowing grass. He was kind of mad at me though because he had to pick up 3 wagon loads of logs and sticks that I had dragged out into the yard to chew on. Mandi has been patiently waiting on the new washer and dryer they bought. Apparently it is on back order. I wait for her while she does the laundry over at Michael's mom's house. I keep trying to steal a few bits of clothing from the basket as she carries them to the car. That's about all that has been going on around here. Thanks for your comments; I read them when Michael and Mandi are gone. Be sure to put a name on your comments so I know who you are. And on a final note, someone made a comment about some big, fat, gray, furry thing I see running around inside the house when I stick my nose in the door. Well, that is the cat, Yohan. I have never met him in person, but I hear he can be a little grumpy. Michael and Mandi gave me a picture to put up of him. Have a great day.

I am new at this!!

Well, my owners told me today that they set up a blog. They said that in order to earn my keep, I have to do the postings. I have only one complaint so far. If I am writing all the postings, why isn't it called "Kramer's Blog" and have my picture on there? I spoke with them about this, and they said that they would include my pictures so people would know who is actually doing all the work on this thing. That's it for now. Michael is outside calling my name to put me up for the night.
